The giant Bra that’s caused such a stir in Swindon’s Brunel shopping centre is in the lime light again because it’s been listed on the popular auction website Ebay.
At a starting price of £250.00 with all proceeds going directly to the charity Against Breast Cancer, the knitting group Swindon Stitch and Bitch have high hopes for their crocheted bra.
The 6 metre long bra is listed with signed photos of both Erika Roe, the famous streaker and a signed photo of the Supermarines Ladies Rugby Club who were there are the launch day of the Bra Exhibition.
Tracey Major of Swindon Stich and Bitch explained: “We’re not sure who might end up as the winning bidder, but we do hope that bidders give generously. They will be winning a stunning and beautifully hand crafted piece of art work, whilst also contributing to an excellent cause which benefits so many people.”
The giant bra is listed on Ebay under collectable textiles with the title ‘Giant Crocheted Bra in Aid of against Breast Cancer’, so it’s really easy to find. You will be able to bid on the bra from 8 October for ten days. The highest bid on 18 October at 13.08 will claim the prize, as well as other goodies. The Bra will be on display until 31 October, so any winning bidder will have to wait until then before it can be shipped to them.
If you fancy this unique opportunity to own an amazingly spectacular giant bra that has been in the media eye and visited by Erika Roe and the Supermarine Ladies Rugby Club quickly get over to Ebay and enter your winning bid.
