Two professional and highly regarded divers will be holding a talk on free diving and their own experiences for Swindon Sub-Aqua club this evening.
Mark is a former UK champion freediver, record-holder and instructor who has also coached and judged at freediving competitions. He has consulted on and taught students how to freedive for roles in both television and film. He ran London’s main club, London Freediving for almost a decade.
Laura is a passionate wildlife photographer, both above and below water. Growing up in Kenya, she learned to dive at the age of 12. Now a Trimix diver, she led the Angels Technical Dive Team through seven years of challenges up to 2010.
Mark and Laura will deliver two illustrated talks with a break in between for refreshments. There will be a question and answer session after each half and plenty of opportunity to talk to the speakers personally.
Admission costs £6 payable on the door. The ticket prices includes light refreshments and there will be a pay as you go bar.
The talk will begin promptly at 8pm. Please arrive any time from 7:15 pm.
