This year’s Urban Rider Games Reloaded 2016 at ATBShop Skate Warehouse has a new sponsor and a new name: The Domino’s Urban Rider Games Reloaded 2016
Organiser Diana Kirk said: “The cost of putting on the games is huge and we’re really thankful to James Swift, the owner of the Domino’s Pizza Swindon franchise, who is making a financial donation, in addition to supplying free pizza and prizes. He has really saved the Urban Rider Games this year.
“ATBShop has been collecting prizes for the event which will be well over £2,000 across different competitions. We’re expecting even more competitors to take part. Last year over 100 extreme sports riders came to Swindon, from across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire; we even attracted one rider from Manchester.
Swindon Travel Choices have loaned us a couple of smoothie exercise bikes where users peddle to generate their drink in the attached blender. Morrisons at Regent Circus in the town centre will be supplying all the fresh fruit and ingredients.
Diana added: “Swindon Travel Choices and Morrisons are really making this year’s event super healthy and super fun.”
“It’s going to be a fun day full of adrenaline for the entire family, as previous competitors battle it out to keep their Urban Rider Games title for the second year in their BMX, Skate or Scooter discipline.
Urban Rider Games Reloaded 2016 will be held at ATBShop Skate Warehouse, Unit 1 Newcombe Drive, Hawksworth Trading Estate, Swindon SN2 1DZ on Friday 8 April, starting at 3pm. Some of the top extreme sports judges will be marking the competition.
