The annual Rotary Club of Swindon Old Town Duck Race is being held again this year on Bank Holiday Monday 30 May and will take place on the field opposite The Runner Public House on Wootton Bassett Road.
The event has been organised by the Rotary Club of Swindon Old Town since 2001 and has raised over £250,000 to date. The club are very grateful for continuing sponsorship from Nationwide with the chosen charities for this year being SCWAD (Swindon Children without a diagnosis) DESAI Primary School for destitute children in the slums of western Nairobi.
Disabled Fans and Carers facilities at the County Ground Football stadium will also benefit, receiving a minimum of 50% of the funds raised with the remaining funds raised being donated to other Rotary Charities.

The Duck Race will have events for all the family such as fun fair rides, charity stalls, food stalls and will include Dog show on the field from around midday, and will start at 3.30pm with the winning duck receiving £1,000 and six further prizes of £100!
