In a statement, Wiltshire Constabulary reports that Andrew Carr, 47, a Wiltshire Police Superintendent from Swindon appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Friday 22 April 2016 charged with 11 counts of fraud, forgery and false accounting.
The charges relate to a treasurer role Andrew Carr undertook for a Parent Teacher Association and Scout organisation.
The hearing was of an administrative nature where the number of charges has changed from 12 to 11.
Mr Carr is currently suspended from Wiltshire Police. The force voluntarily referred the matter to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) in October 2015. An independent investigation was undertaken by Dorset Police.
He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on 26 May 2016 .
