inSwindon BID company want to recognise the ‘BEST’ talent Swindon has to offer, but there’s not much time to register your act.
They are inviting all dancers, singers, actors, illusionists, comedians, bands, contortionists, musicians and jugglers to submit and showcase their skills for the town centre talent competition.
All entries must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 15 April 2016. All you need to do is upload your entry performance via youtube or Vimeo and send inSwindon the link via their online entry form at www.swindontowncentre.co.uk
Seven finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges with the eighth being voted for by the public on the inSwindon Facebook page. Voting will start on Friday 15th between 5pm and 6pm. The winner of the public vote will be the act with the most likes.
The final eight contestants will compete against each other live at the ‘BEST’ of Swindon finals on Saturday 22 April, 2pm to 4pm, which takes place at Wharf Green in the town centre. Thecontest is part of the inSwindon’s St George’s Day celebrations which takes place on the same day, from 11an to 5pm at Wharf Green. Come along, support your act and join in with a fun packed family day.
The winner of the competition will be chosen on the day by our talent spotting judges and will receive a fantastic prize – the chance to perform at the Swindon Town Centre Christmas Lights Switch on, which is attended by over 10,000 people. And there is £250 worth of shopping vouchers to spend in the town centre on offer.
