Cupcakes, cookies and chocolate brownies – tasty, bite-size pieces of indulgence. Let them become part of your compelling business offer. You’ll never be forgotten!
When Samantha Whittingham launched her online cake shop Little Miss Cake Maker two years ago, she created cupcakes with printed logo toppers for the purpose of promoting her brand. In taking them to business networking events in and around Swindon Little Miss Cake Maker became, quite literally, ‘the name on everyone’s lips’.
Her cakes quickly become much loved amongst business people in the Swindon area, helping all sorts of enterprises to stand out from the crowd. Now Samantha has evolved the business into the Corporate Cakery Ltd, splitting her business into two brands: LittleMiss Cake Maker for B2C and the Corporate Cakery for B2B.
Cakes now form a part of the wide range of tasty promo products available to order through www.corporatecakery.com. Her new website has been designed specifically for people in the business world to make it quick and easy for them to order bespoke baked goods up to three days in advance.
Samantha said: “The Corporate Cakery’s range of personalised products can convey a variety of messages to your clients. They can say ‘thank you for working with us’, they can reward your colleagues and employees for any jobs ‘well done’, or even say to potential customers ‘you’ll really like working with us’.
“The products we make certainly don’t last long, but the experience of receiving that branded cake or cookie is fondly remembered for an incredibly long time.”
Samantha welcomed 60 guests eager to sample her branded cupcakes and baked goods at a launch party at Desk Cowork in Old Town on 11 May.
The business is now based within Hospitality Services’ commercial unit, but while the Corporate Cakery’s products are not literally ‘homemade’, Samantha said: “Our products will always be handmade and freshly baked to order, so we can cater for all dietary needs.”
The partnership with Hospitality Services opens up many more opportunities, and managing director John Simpson commented: “It’s give us great pleasure to see Sam’s business grow from strength to strength and with her unending passion and drive we can see only a bright and exciting future for her company.
“Most new businesses need support, not just from the outset but in managing their expansion in a sustainable way. We as a business feel proud our assistance to Sam has made a positive impact in her growth.”
