Swindon Top Kittens U16s girls side have had cause to celebrate after seeing a number of their players receive international recognition.
Katie Reid, Jessica Sprules, Paige Breen, Charlotte Harris and Amelia McGinlay have been selected for the U16 girls Great Britain squad, while Annabelle Cuss has been invited to train with the Women’s U18s GB team.
They will be attending training over the next few months and will be hoping to impress in order to be considered for games.
Meanwhile, Amelia McGinlay, Katie Edginton, Ellie Wallace, Mali Easton and Charlotte Harris have all made it through to the England U14 School of Excellence. This is a five-day residential camp held over May half-term in Hull and will hopefully lead to a place on the U14 England girls team.
Caragh Nugent was also selected but is unable to attend due to her continued recovery from a leg operation.
This is great news for the Swindon Top Kittens and they are immensely proud of the girls who have been selected to represent their country.
