iOS developer Jeevan Thandi from Shaw is seeking to revolutionise the way we listen to our favourite unsigned artists with a brand new app.
Blink Tunes gives you free access to loads of amazing, independent up and coming music artists. Intended as a great way for you to discover and fall in love with new singers and songwriters, the app is currently in the early stages, with version one released during April.
Jeevan, who attended Bradon Forest School and Cirencester College, has worked for leading app developers, said: “I thought of the app three years ago, listening to one of my favourite artists.
“I decided to find a way for musicians to stream, showcase and network with each other. The dream one day is to showcase unsigned artists at larger events and be able to give them the backing I feel they deserve.
“Maybe one day there will be the Blink Tunes logo above a festival stage. That would be the dream.”
Think of it as the Spotify for the unsigned world. Blink Tunes is available now through the App Store
