Do you have a car built with parts pressed in Swindon?
British car fanatic Tanya Field is looking for owners to take part in Mini Plant Swindon’s 60th Anniversary event with an early morning choreographed tour of the town’s famous Magic Roundabout on Saturday 9 July.
The event is also part of the Swindon 175 anniversary, celebrating the year 175 years ago when the Great Western Railway Company chose the town to be the site of its engine repair works.
In exchange for the early start you and your passenger will be given breakfast, a commemorative run plaque and car flag. After the Magic Roundabout escapade, drivers and passengers will rendezvous at the town’s Steam Museum so that the public can take a closer look at vehicles of yesteryear before an optional opportunity to drive over to the celebration Family Day at Mini Plant Swindon.
