Kampala Children’s Centre was established in 2005 to give a home and a voice to vulnerable children in Uganda affected by poverty, disease and the legacy of war. KCC not only provides a loving family home but also excellent education, training, access to healthcare and support as the children grow and develop into adulthood. It’s desire is to see broken lives restored, given a new hope and a new start.
Through sponsorship, the Centre also looks after children in the community with many educated on-site. Employment in the local area has risen through staffing and the continual development of the site. Currently there is a kindergarten and primary school, clinic, farm, workshop and offices with a secondary school under construction, There are also 10 children’s homes with a plan to build many more.
