Residents of Swindon and Shrivenham will have a chance to ask the group responsible for buying health services in Swindon and Shrivenham their questions at the NHS Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15 July.
NHS Swindon CCG is responsible for commissioning a range of services including hospital, community and mental health service care for our local population.
The AGM will be held at The Pilgrim Centre, Swindon on Friday 15 July, from 10am to 2pm. The first part of the AGM will detail how monies have been spent during 2015/16 and during the second part of the meeting, the public will hear about the vision for Swindon up to 2021, how the CCG is preparing itself for the responsibility of commissioning GP services in Swindon, and other major national developments.
The agenda and meeting papers will be available on the CCG’s website.
Accountable Officer of Swindon CCG, Nicki Millin said:
“The AGM will give the public the opportunity to hear about the CCG’s achievements in 2015/16. We will also be looking at plans for the year ahead, discussing our challenges and opportunities and there will be a presentation of the Annual Report and Financial Accounts. I hope that as many local people as possible will join us to hear more about what we are doing.”
