A midsummer’s evening of prose, poetry and drama will take place at Swindon’s Central Library in honour of Shakespeare next Thursday (30 June).
The celebration, which starts at 7.15pm, is part of a year-long programme of events which are taking place across the country to mark the 400th anniversary of the great Bard’s death.
The prose and drama will be enacted and read by Molly Campbell and Stu Jackson with the poetry being read by Cristina Newton and Sam Loveless.
Bob Jacks and Haydn Bonadie will also play classical and flamenco guitars on the night.
Tickets are priced at £2.50 (£1.50 library members) and are available from the Ground Floor Help Desk at Central Library, as well as all other Swindon Libraries.
