An evening of film, dance, theatre, music and visual art titled ‘Different Pasts, Same Future’ is planned for Swindon as part of Refugee Week 2016.
Community performances by Drove Primary School, New College, The Ridgeway School, Swindon Dance’s Youth Dance Academy and more will take place at Swindon Dance on Friday 24 June to mark National Refugee Week.
There will also be presentations by professional art companies such as Create Studios, Prime Theatre and Swerve Dance Theatre Company.
There will also be a visual art exhibition by local artist David Bent entitled ‘Movement 2000’, which is on show with contributions from Harbour Project visitors.
