Directors from West Swindon Centre of Excellence for Innovation and Growth, WRc, attended Isambard School on Monday 13 June, presenting eleven students with commendations and gift tokens for their part in the companies recent Innovation Day.
Andy Hunt (Communications Director), Francis Smith (Human Resources Director) and Jayne Matwiejczyk (Head of Communications) from WRc in West Swindon spoke to the assembled students who were praised for their innovative spirit and their contribution to the companies open day for delegates.
In his thank you speech to the students, Mr Hunt said: “This was our best Innovation Day so far. The feedback scores we received from our delegates were excellent and Isambard’s contribution helped us to achieve that. We will certainly want to call on you again next time. You have been great ambassadors for your school and for WRc.”
Isambard would also like to thank WRc for their kind donation of funding, allowing the school to purchase a MacBook Pro which the students used to edit their work on site.
