Justin Tomlinson, MP for North Swindon, is hosting a public meeting on Friday 22 July, 6.30pm, to discuss the issue of speeding and dangerous driving on Thamesdown Drive.
Justin has invited Wiltshire and Swindon Police & Crime Commissioner Angus Macpherson to take part. He will be joined by senior police officers and representatives from Swindon Borough Council to listen to concerns from residents and users of the town’s northern by-pass.
Justin commented: “Over quite a long time now I have received a correspondence from local residents concerning safety on Thamesdown Drive. As a Taw Hill resident, I have witnessed speeding and dangerous driving myself on many occasions. That’s why I have invited both parties who are able to do something about it to meet the public and engage in constructive discussions to help tackle this issue. All North Swindon residents are invited to come along and share their views.”
The meeting takes place at the MPs office on the First Floor, Customer Service Hub, Orbital Shopping Park, SN25 4AN (located behind Asda, adjacent to Connell’s estate agents).
Space is limited. If you plan to attend on 22 July, reserve a place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
