A sponsored dog walk around Swindon’s picturesque Coate Water Country Park will take place for the third year running on Saturday 3 September in aid of Cancer Research UK.
“Best Paw Forward” has been organised by the Swindon Committee of Cancer Research UK and is open to all dog owners. You can register your pet at http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/find-an-event/best-paw-forward-swindon-2016
The dogs, plus their owners can walk, stroll gently or even run round the lake which should take approx. 45 minutes to I hour. The unique element to this event is that the dogs are raising money and not their owners.
Cancer Research UK’s long term vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. They are the largest charitable funder of cancer research in the world, funding nearly half of the UK’s cancer research and the only one to research all 200 types of cancer. They receive no government funding.
“Best Paw Forward” starts at 10am on 3 September.
