Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision that occurred on the A429 southbound between Kemble and Crudwell on Wednesday 6 July 2016.
At approximately 5.30pm, a white transit van and a black Mercedes collided. Both vehicles were damaged as a result. Following the collision, an altercation is believed to have taken place.
A 26-year-old man from Malmesbury was arrested on suspicion of assault; failing to stop and theft, and a 30-year-old man from Tetbury was arrested on suspicion of assault.
They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
PC Sue McCartney said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who was in the area between 5.20pm and 6pm on 6 July.
