Are you tough enough to take on Bear Grylls for Prospect Hospice, Swindon?
Prospect Hospice has places available this autumn for people who fancy tackling a physically-demanding survival challenge designed by celebrity adventurer Bear Grylls.
The Bear Grylls Survival Race on 8 – 9 October features a 5km, 10km or 30km course filled with over 35 natural and purpose-built obstacles and 4+ Bear Grylls Survival Challenges, designed to push participants’ minds and bodies to their limits.
The event is an opportunity to experience survival scenarios like those Bear Grylls is exposed to in his many adventures across the planet. Participants will encounter a range of settings in the Survival Zones like those they would face making their way through the Amazonian jungle or facing the harsh waters in the world’s most dangerous oceans.
Louise Brooks, Challenge Events Fundraiser, said: “This is the first time that we’ve had places in this event, and we are excited to be able to offer this as an option to our supporters. We hope they have a fantastic time, while raising money to support the incredible care that we offer to local people at Prospect Hospice and across our community.”
The entry fee is £25 with a minimum sponsorship target of £200. People tempted to follow in Bear Grylls’ footsteps in aid of Prospect Hospice should contact Louise Brooks for details and to books their place. Call 01793 816180, or email email@example.com
