As a process self-publishing a book is now quite easy, but, as always, the hard part is organising ideas and writing what’s in your head in a way that is interesting to others.
In 2013 Alison Thompson self-published ‘The Boy from hell’, her experience of bringing up a son with ADHD. A major publisher picked it up and recently published an updated second edition.
Now she wants to share the ups and downs of writing, bringing together ideas and preparing to publish by offering a free workbook to get you started called ‘Write That Book!’
Alison uses the techniques in the workbook to help her clients plan their non-fiction books, and she has had good feedback for it.
She said: “I would love to chat with you about your inspirations and your aspirations for writing a book – and offer you any advice I can to get you started. We can also discuss how I might be able to help you focus on actually writing it.”
