Many of us put off writing a will but it’s one of the most important things you can do to ensure your loved ones are looked after when you’re no longer around.
To mark Remember a Charity in your Will Week, 12 to 18 September, Brighter Futures has teamed up with local firm Swindon Will Writing to offer a 25 per cent discount on professional will writing services to staff and patients.
Jennifer Green, Head of Fundraising for Brighter Futures, said: “A gift in your will can make a real, long-lasting difference to patients and their families. Your legacy could help equip the new Radiotherapy Centre at the Great Western Hospital, contribute to state-of-the-art equipment or fund ground-breaking research.”
Swindon Will Writing has named Brighter Futures as its charity of the year. Reshma Field, who runs the firm, said: “I have a close affinity to GWH as both my parents were in the medical profession and both worked at the old Princess Margaret Hospital. I very much view GWH as a continuation of the great work carried out by our local doctors, nurses and all staff who work there.
“I recognise how much Brighter Futures does to support and supplement the care given at GWH and I would like to be able to contribute to the charity to enable it to carry on with its many projects.”
