A reward has been offered to try to help solve a break-in at a Swindon factory where a large quantity of distinctive slippers were stolen.
The burglary at the facility in the Groundwell Industrial Estate happened between 10pm on 25 August 2016 and 7am on 26 August 2016.
A few hundred boxes of distinctive, high-value slippers were stolen.
A £5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
PC Shaun Barlow said: “Our investigation into this burglary is still ongoing and we are urging anyone who may have any information to come forward.
“We are working on the assumption that a vehicle may have been used, because of the large amount of stock which was taken away from the site, and we believe the slippers have been put up for sale somewhere, possible online.”
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in or around the industrial site on the night of the break-in, or who knows anything about the slippers being put up for sale, should contact PC Barlow on 101. Alternatively you can phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information may be left anonymously.
