Police are appealing for witnesses following two burglaries in the High Street, Purton.
Overnight between 2 and 3 October 2016, the Purton Veterinary Practice was broken into and a small amount of cash was stolen.
A burglary also occurred at Silver Threads Hall during the same night although nothing is believed to have been stolen.
PC Ed Rogers said: “Although nothing of significant value was stolen during these incidents, offenders have caused damage throughout the premises which has no doubt been upsetting and distressing for the victims.
“We believe these two incidents may be linked and would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious behaviour in the area overnight between 2 and 3 October, particularly during the early hours of the morning.”

Wiltshire Police is also appealing for information following a burglary at a property in Risingham Mead, Swindon.
At some point between 7:00 – 11:00 pm yesterday evening, Thursday 13 October 2016, the offender(s) forced entry to the house and stole a large black flat screen Sony TV.
An investigation is ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
