Participants in the Race for Life on Saturday 4 May at Lydiard Park were set to raise £245,000 and remember loved ones along the way.
At least 2,466 people walked, jogged or ran the 3k, 5k,10k and Pretty Muddy Race for Life events to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Money raised at Race for Life, whose headline sponsor is Standard Life, enables scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, helping to save more lives.
The Race for Life is an inspiring series of events nationwide which raise millions of pounds every year to help beat cancer by funding crucial research.
