Noremarsh Junior School welcomed families for a morning maths lesson.
Maths teacher Ellie Chamberlain hosted the event, which included talking about all things maths, from homework to how the subject is taught in school.
The session included an introduction with Miss Chamberlain explaining the tools used in each year group. Parents then went into classrooms with their children to work with them in their maths lesson.
Some of the feedback from Noremarsh parents included: “Lovely to see the children enjoying maths and challenging themselves. Good to see how passionate Noremarsh are at maths.”
Another said: “Brilliant event, would recommend doing more events. Not just maths but English as well.”
Headteacher Hilary MacMeekin said: “It is all thanks to Ellie and the Noremarsh team that we can offer events such as Maths Morning.
"This year has been a great success with over double the number of parents visiting from last year, we are always looking for ways to help our parents at home and value all the feedback from Friday’s event.”
