Ascend Learning Trust schools marked World Book Day with fun activities and fancy dress.

At Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, doors were dressed as favourite book covers, with students bringing in cakes they have baked and decorated at home in a bid to win the first prize of vouchers and house points.

Noremarsh Junior School hosted a book sale to allow children to purchase extra books on top of their World Book Day token, with many fun activities in lesson.

Lawn Manor Academy had pupils searching around the site to find ‘Where’s Wally’, and other events included guessing teachers' bookcases and designing bookmarks and bunting for the school’s library.
