It’s no April fool - Ellecoco Children’s Parties and Harris + Hoole café have teamed up to put on an egg-stra special charity event this Easter holiday.
The mostly child-orientated event will offer Easter-themed face painting and a photoshoot for children, with live music performances by talented local artists for the adults to enjoy.
The fun-filled event takes place on 1 April, between 11am and 5.30pm. Located within the Tesco Extra store (or ‘big Tesco’ as we like to call it), on Ocotal Way in Swindon, there’s free parking on site. You can find the event situated upstairs, within the Harris + Hoole café.
All profits from the event will be split between Swindon Women’s Aid, the domestic violence charity and HEALS of Malmesbury, which supports the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
The main attraction is children’s face painting and photoshoot, for just £5, and you’ll received an 8x6 inch print. This is suitable for children over the age of two years. On top of that, the Easter bunny will be there too!
The event’s organiser, Daniel J Webb said: “I’ve been working on this for a few weeks and the excitement really is brewing – everyone involved is working very hard to make this an amazing event within the community.
“We hope to raise so much money for our two chosen charities, Swindon Women’s Aid and HEALS of Malmesbury, which I know the team at Harris + Hoole, and myself, hold close to our hearts and will support in any way we can.”
