Swindon Borough Council advises eligible parents to register now for free childcare from April.

Eligible working parents of two year olds are able to register to access 15 hours of free childcare per week, from April 2024.

The reccomended time to register is between now and the end of February.

The 15 hours of childcare is avaliable for all families in England. It is avaliable at participating full daycare providers, schools, childminders, playgroups, after school clubs and Sure Start Children's Centres.

The 15 hours is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or activties. Providers may charge a fee for these additions.
