An Akita dog left a man seriously hurt in an attack in Queens Park.
The police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on 13 April.
A force spokesperson said in a message to the public: "A man suffered injuries to his face after being attacked by a large Akita dog, resulting in extensive medial treatment including more than 60 stitches.
