South Swindon Parish Council has organised a community litter pick in Buckhurst Field.
Participants are asked to meet at the site, which lies off Marlowe Avenue, at 10am on Wednesday, 15 June.
The event, called the Oakfield Litter Pick, is scheduled to run for two hours and will cover not just Buckhurst Field but the surrounding streets.
A parish council spokesperson said: "We'll provide litter pickers and rubbish bags, but recommend you bring your own gloves, if you can.
"There's no need to stay for the full 2 hours, we'd love people to join us for as little or as long as they'd like."
Participants aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
