Police search for man struck by car

Swindon Police are urgently appealing for information about a man who has been struck by a car in Swindon and left the scene.

It is thought the pedestrian, a man in his 50s, who was wearing a dark jacket and possibly jeans, was struck by a car near the roundabout between Drakes Way and Queens Drive shortly before 2pm today - 3 May.
He stepped in front of a car and was struck by the vehicle, damaging the windscreen.
It is possible that the man who was struck has serious injuries and is in shock. He may appear confused or upset and may show signs of obvious injury.
Anyone with information should call the police on 999, quoting log 143 of 3 May.
