Police are investigating a high value theft which occurred at a Swindon shop.

At approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday 11 March, three men entered GO Outdoors in Ocotal Way. They selected several backpacks worth more than £1,400 in total and ran from the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

When staff from the shop confronted the men, they were threatened with violence.

Officers have obtained CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

PC Sam Young said: “This incident happened in daylight during a busy period – there would have been lots of people around including both shoppers and drivers.

“When staff confronted the men involved, one of the men threatened to punch one of the shop workers in the face.

“We would like to speak to the men pictured – if you can provide any information to help, please get in touch.”
