Community initiative aims to provide free face shields for front line staff

A community initiative - calling themselves Shield Wiltshire - are offering free 3d printed face shields to frontline NHS staff.

Comprising a group of individuals, until recently unknown to each other and now networked remotely during the Covid-19 lockdown, the group aims to manufacture desperately needed PPE for local health professionals, care homes and charities staff.

Shield Wiltshire provides peace of mind and reduced risk in the working environment to those individuals putting themselves in harms way to keep us all healthy.

“We may not always be needed, but while we are, we are here to help those who help us.”
