Following Sunday’s Government announcement extending social distancing conditions, organisers of the MFor Festival have taken the difficult decision to postpone the event, rescheduling it to 31st July 2021.

The postponement is announced with a heavy heart.  After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2019, the MFor team were due to bring an even bigger party to Lydiard Park this year with acts including Rudimental DJ, Craig David’s TS5 set, Ella Henderson, Phats and Small and The Original Dodger amongst those confirmed to perform.

The team are committed to the ongoing success and growth of the festival and can confirm that the same artists will all appear at the rescheduled event on 31st July 2021.  To ensure that an amazing 2021 event can be delivered organisers are hoping ticket holders will be keen to hang on to their tickets and carry them over to the 2021 event, ensuring festival goers have a great day to look forward to.

Not content with simply moving the event by a year the Mfor team are planning to make 2021’s event even bigger by adding a Friday evening line-up to the festival, giving music lovers from Swindon and the surrounding area not one, but two nights of celebrations and music to look forward to.

MFor founder Graham Stobbs said, “We’re devastated that we have to postpone the event, but the health and safety of our guests and our staff has to be our top priority.  We had been hoping we could go ahead as planned as the build time for our event is relatively short compared to bigger events that go on for several days, but, with social distancing likely to remain in place for some time yet, focussing our efforts on giving our guests a party to look forward to in 2021 is now our priority.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has bought a ticket for MFor for their patience.  Our event supports former military servicemen and women and raises money for charities including ‘Walking with the Wounded’ and local Swindon community projects and we appeal to those with tickets to hang on to them and look forward to a huge party in 2021 so we can continue to support these great causes.”

Ticket holders are encouraged to keep their tickets and and look forward to a brilliant day in 2021.  For those who would prefer a refund we will be accepting refund requests for a 28-day period until 2nd June.  For further details please email [email protected] or visit www.mforfestival.co.uk.
