Business West launches webinar and virtual networking series to aid business recovery from COVID-19

As the UK looks certain to enter recession as a result of the coronavirus lockdown, Business West is launching a brand-new series of webinars and virtual networking events to help enable businesses to bounce back and get the South West’s economy back on track.

Aimed at SMEs, the webinars will address the various practical issues and challenges facing businesses as lockdown measures are eased to smooth the transition to life after COVID-19.

Drawing on the in-house expertise of its award-winning business advisors and network of member businesses from the professional services sector and beyond, this brand-new series of webinars will meet the demand of businesses for a one stop shop of coronavirus-related advice and guidance that they know they can trust. In addition to informational, advice-led webinars, Business West is also set to launch its ‘Zoom around the room networking sessions’ to help enable the local business community to connect, collaborate and share business opportunities throughout this challenging time.

The launch of a webinar and virtual networking events series represents the latest expansion of Business West’s hugely successful Trading Through Coronavirus service, which has been accessed by more than 60,000 businesses since launching in mid-March. Featuring answers to frequently asked questions, up to the minute expert legal and financial advice and even a regular video and podcast series Trading Through Coronavirus has become the trusted go to partner of South West businesses as they attempt to navigate the COVID-19 crisis.
