Three teenagers have been arrested following an incident involving an air weapon in Swindon this evening (15/01).
Firearms officers were called to Kembrey Street shortly before 8pm following reports that three males had been firing an air rifle.
Three teenagers, aged 18, 16 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of causing fear of violence with a firearm.
They have been taken into custody at Gablecross Police Station where they remain.
Insp Colin Conway said: "The public may have seen the firearms officers responding to this incident and I want to reassure people that this was dealt with quickly and there were no injuries.
"We have arrested three teenagers and are not looking to arrest anyone else.
"I would like to appeal to anyone who may have information that helps us with our enquiries.
