13-year-old boy assaulted in attempted robbery

CCTV images have been released in connection with an investigation into an attempted robbery in Swindon.

Between approximately 7.50pm and 8.05pm on February 7, a 13-year-old boy was walking in the alleyway behind Redcliffe Street with his bike when he was approached by four males who assaulted him numerous times and attempted to make off with his bike. 

One of the males is believed to have been carrying a knife. 

A witness who officers have identified, ran to the victim's aid which caused the suspects to run off, leaving the bike at the scene.

Images are attached of people police would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
