The Orbital's food festival returns this month for a weekend of eats from the streets.

From Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 August one of Swindon's most beloved food festivals, Eats from the Streets, will be parked up at The Orbital Shopping Centre.

The Routemaster Bus - a converted double decker bus and festival favourite - will be returning this year for visitors to dine in as they gorge on food from the various independent street food vendors. The family-friendly event will also be providing free face painting through the weekend.

Jamie Turner, centre manager at Orbital, said: “Our Eats from the Street festival is a celebration of street food and some of the best, independent food vendors from across the region.

“The event has proven really popular with local people in recent years, and we’re excited to be bringing it back once again this year, offering free entertainment for the whole family while they enjoy the delicious food from our stalls.”

This year vendors include:

  • Wanna Pull – pulled meat burgers
  • Chez Raphael – crepes and waffles
  • International Spud Station – potato pancakes
  • B&Co. Food – veggie / vegan pizza
  • Gurt Wings – chicken wings
  • Roll Me Up – ice cream rolls
  • Devoted Deluxe Bar
