Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a break in at the Co-op store, Cricklade Road, Swindon.

Just before 2am this morning, Wednesday 19 September, the suspect cycled up to the store and smashed a window.

Once inside, he forced open the cigarette display case and filled a blue bag with tobacco pouches with an estimated value of £500.

The suspect then cycled off towards Great Western Way.

An image of a person officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident is attached.

The suspect is described as male, of heavy build wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, grey top and black trainers. He had a scarf wrapped around his face.

Although the quality of the image is poor and the man's face is covered by a scarf, combined with the description it may be that someone can help identify him.

If you saw a person matching this description cycling in the area during the early hours of this morning or have any information which could help our investigation please contact PC Julieann Brown on 101 quoting ref *88434.
