Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a wallet was stolen and the bank cards fraudulently used in Swindon. The victim, a 56-year-old man from Staffordshire, attended a conference at The Village Hotel, Shaw Ridge on 22 September 2018.
At some point between midday and 3.30pm his wallet was stolen and his cards used in Lloyds Bank, New Town and HSBC, Old Town where significant amounts of cash were obtained. CCTV images of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incidents are attached.
