The Farrell school of Irish dance, based in Swindon, is holding a fundraiser to help meet the £3,000 they need to help subsidise a coach trip to the world championships over Easter weekend in 2019 in Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

A total of 35 dancers will take part in solo dancing, Ceili dancing and show dancing.

The dance school is hosting our table top sale to generate the funds on Saturday October 6 from 10.30am - 12.30pm at St Peter’s Church on Penhill Drive.

The young dancers have also been backed by Prestige Cleaning Solutions who have helped the school purchase eight new team costumes.

The club also plans to host a fundraising Irish night at the Supermarine Club. A Christmas Craic-er will be held at the Supermarine Club on December 1 (doors open at 7pm) Tickets cost £10 or £5 for a child. Music will be provided by Gruig and Liam O'Leary and there will be displays of Irish dancing from 9pm.
