Charity's first handbag amnesty a success as pre-loved bargains are donated to support Brighter Futures.

Pre-loved handbags were given a new lease of life at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon as Brighter Futures rallied support for Great Western Hospitals.

Over the weekend businesses and residents were invited by Brighter Futures to donate their pre-loved handbags as part of the partnership between the retail outlet and charity. People were able to bag themselves a bargain to support Brighter Futures' continuous mission to raise money for Great Western Hospitals. All the proceeds from handbag purchases and raffle are to be donated to Brighter Futures.

Before the event Tina Cumpstey, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon said: “We are thrilled to offer our local community the chance to support Brighter Futures through our Handbag Amnesty at Swindon Designer Outlet. Every donated handbagor purchase at the pop-up shop is sure to make a huge difference to the important work the charity do.”
