Latest exhibition, 'A Most Curious Happening', at Artsite's Number Nine Gallery looks to lift the lid on the process of creative thought.

This weekend, Saturday 13 October and Sunday 14 October, will see local artists Kelly Ishwari Waldek and Von Grey showcase and create psychedelic art works.

The duo, who have been working together for five years, are hoping to portray their creative process and relationship through "energy-fuelled mandala work and finely detailed linecut printmaking."

Kelly said: "We're calling it 'A Most Curious Happening' because for us, that's how we see it. Bimbling along together for 5 years; the creation of art has been a fundamental aspect of how we relate... always with the curious mind intact - a never ending fascinating ramble of sketching, printmaking, painting, photography, film and music making.

"We've decided to plop all that into a 'formal' space, because when you look at all that inspired creative outcome placed together, it is quite something and begs to be shared. We shall be continuing the making as we spend the weekend in the gallery."

Saturday public view: 12pm to 6pm

Saturday private view: 7pm

Sunday public view: 12pm to 4pm
