Local artists are set to benefit from Swindon Museum and Art Gallery's latest collective which will display the best original art works in a winter exhibition.
From 11 December until 5 January the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery will come alive with art work from artists to showcase local and original pieces.
The exhibiting art work will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of Swindon Museum and Art Gallery’s Curator, Sophie Cummings; Mark Pepperall, owner of Oink Gallery and Caroline Day, Artist. The new collective will then give the selected artists the opportunity to diplay their work for public viewing.
Submissions of work must be made by 17 November and each artist can submit up to three pieces of original work. Works entered will then be judged by the panel with the successful works going on display from December.
All art work will be available for purchasing and anyone wanting their purchase as a Christmas present can pick it up before the exhibition closes.
The exhibition is being supported by Oink Gallery, and owner Mark Pepperall will be offering up a £50 voucher for the most original and well executed piece.
