Activities camp, Fit for Sport, has recently launched in Swindon in a bid to keep children active and healthy during school holidays.

From 26 October to 2 November Fit for Sport will be hosting an activities camp at Swindon's Link Centre, offering children a full programme of sporting activities during the half term.

Activities include swimming lessons, trampolining and ice skating, as well as arts and crafts sessions.

A parent who has previously used Fit for Sport said: “My children have been to Fit for Sport on numerous occasions. Every time, without exception, they do not want to leave.

"The teachers are friendly, fun and inspiring. My children come home exhausted yet invigorated and confident. Fit For Sport will always be my first choice whenever I need a school holiday program.”

Activities range from £20 to £25 for the day.

Chloe Brown, a university student on placement at Fit for Sport, said: "We want to help children to get involved in a range of sports and increase the sports services provided in Swindon."
