Swindon Police are appealing for information following a fail to stop incident in Swindon this morning.

At about 8.35am, a 30-year-old woman was crossing the road on the pelican crossing in Pinehurst Road, near to the junction with Limes Avenue and Poplar Avenue, when she was hit by a red car.

She suffered injuries to her face, wrist and ankle.

The driver failed to stop at the scene – they are described as female, possibly Asian, with a young child in the front seat.

A man driving a silver or white car did stop to help the injured lady and took her to her brother’s house nearby, but he didn’t leave his details. If this was you, please call 101 and quote log number 45 of today.

If you know who the driver of the red car or if you have any further information, please also get in touch via 101.
