Swindon Police are appealing for information following a fail to stop incident in Swindon this morning. At about 8.35am, a 30-year-old woman was crossing the road on the pelican crossing in Pinehurst Road, near to the junction with Limes Avenue and Poplar Avenue, when she was hit by a red car. She suffered injuries to her face, wrist and ankle. The driver failed to stop at the scene – they are described as female, possibly Asian, with a young child in the front seat. A man driving a silver or white car did stop to help the injured lady and took her to her brother’s house nearby, but he didn’t leave his details.
