Wiltshire Police have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in relation to the theft of some sentimental items from a handbag stolen from the Goddard Arms in Old Town.

At around 11am on Tuesday 13 November, the victim - in her 70s - was in the Goddard Arms when an unknown offender took her grey leather Hotter handbag and a red Radley purse.

The bag contained some items of significant sentimental value, including a set of dog tags that belonged to the victim's late partner when he served as an airman in Vietnam.  Also inside was a gold-plated, engraved cross pen which belonged to her partner as well.

PC Ed Rogers said:  "If you recognise either or both of these people please come forward.
"Also, if you know anything about this theft or have come across these sentimental items please do the right thing and contact me."

If you can help with our enquiries, please contact PC Ed Rogers on 101 quoting crime reference 54180107573.  Or you can call anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
