A 13-year-old girl sustained a fractured leg following an assault in Swindon.

At approximately 7pm on Thursday 13 December, the teenager was waiting at the bus stop outside New College on Queens Drive, when she was assaulted by two other girls who are known to her.

Det Con Emma Wood, of Swindon CID, said: “This was a nasty incident which left a young girl with an injury to her leg.

“We are really keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault take place – Queens Drive is a busy road and it is likely there would have been people passing by, either walking or in vehicles.

“If you have information, please get in touch. Our investigation remains ongoing at this time.”
