Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after officers attended an address in Swindon this morning.

A large quantity of cannabis, cash, knives and an airgun were seized from the address in Dixon Street by officers.

As well as this, tens of thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes were also seized as part of our investigation.

One 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

Another 16-year-old boy, found at the address, was arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs.

Both are local to the area, and both were taken to Gablecross custody where they remain for questioning.

Det Sgt Alex Spargo said: “This was a successful operation targeting the supply of class B drugs in our communities and as a result, we have made two arrests, and seized a number of items of interest. This includes a large amount of designer clothes, believed to have been purchased through proceeds of crime.

“The investigation will continue from here, and we would encourage anyone who suspects drug activity in their area, to contact police on 101 so we can take appropriate action.”
