Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after jewellery and money was stolen during a robbery in Swindon.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking along Millgrove Street, in Redhouse, at around 8.30pm on Thursday 27 December 2018 when he was approached by three men.
One asked him for the time and when he looked down at his watch one of the others grabbed him from behind.
The trio demanded money and jewellery and made off with a quantity of cash and a watch, a bangle and a gold chain.
Det Con Greg Farmery, from Swindon CID, said: "Although no weapon was seen by the victim he did feel something held up against his neck, which he was concerned was a knife.
"The victim was not injured, but was left shaken by what had happened.
"We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact police and assist with our enquiries.
"We have been speaking to local business about possible CCTV footage, but if anyone who lives nearby has private CCTV footage then please also call police."
The suspects are described as three men, two of whom were white and the other was black.
